Follow products and services are owned by The Mission Church of Southern Illinois, 310 North Market Street, Marion, IL, 62959 referred to herein as (“Follow”, “us”, or “we”). Follow may be used by unregistered users (“visitors”) or registered users (“members”). Members and visitors may be collectively or individually referred to herein as (“users” or “you”).

By accessing Follow, you agree to this Privacy Policy and its terms, as may be updated or revised from time to time, and consent to having your data transferred and processed in accordance with the terms herein and the Terms of Use. 

We process, share and collect personal information depending on the information you choose to provide and the functionality of the services you choose to use. You may decline to submit personal information to us but that may prohibit our ability to provide certain services. The information can include: 

• Personal identifiers such as your name, internet protocol address, phone number, email address, birthdate and other similar types of identifiers 

• Internet and network activity including your interaction with our websites, apps and other services such as the date, time and duration of access to the website, name and version of your web browser, pages visited on our website, browsing search and history 

• Financial information including credit card, banking and any other financial information provided. 

• Sensitive information including religious information, sexual orientation, race, marital status, national origin, health related and genetic information and other similar sensitive information. 

• Physical location and movement data 

Personal information is collected to the extent you provide it to us for the following purposes: 

• Improve, customize, maintain, support, personalize, secure and enhance your experience 

• Ensure proper use and authentication of your account 

• Contact you in relation to your requests and account 

• Ensure proper operation of our website, app and services 

• Process any donations your provide 

• Provide location based functionality 

• Provide information on other products and services 

• Maintain the safety, security, and integrity of Follow and the infrastructure that facilitates use of Follow 

• For development and internal analysis 

• Fulfill our obligations and enforce our rights 

• As described in this Privacy Policy 

• As described when you provide the information; and 

• For any purpose to which you consent. 

Use of Follow does not require a membership account. You need to provide a first name, last name, and a valid email address to create a Follow membership account. This information is used to associate you with your specific Follow member account. Once you have created a Follow member account, you may choose to provide your gender, age, website, description of your location, a brief biography, a profile picture, and other information including content you create whether posted or not (“User Content”). 

We collect personal data from you when you provide, post, or upload it to Follow. You do not have to provide this information; but, if you do not, it may limit your Follow experience. Users may publish, distribute, and display certain content (“posts”). Posts may be made on public areas of Follow, websites, and social media accounts you access through Follow, or transmitted to other users of Follow or third parties you choose to connect with on Follow or other platforms or services. Content may be maintained in your account, some of which you can also post to provide to others. 

We process your User Content to facilitate your ability to create, use, store, and distribute the User Content. We associate your User Content with your account until you delete it. Disclosure of personal information in a public manner may be collected and used by others. All posts and User Content is transmitted at your own risk. We shall not be liable for any User Content which is viewed or used in an unauthorized manner. 

Any donation through Follow or a third party website linked to Follow is entirely voluntary. If you choose to donate you will need to provide credit card, bank account, or other financial information necessary to process the transaction. We will collect the account information and personal information such as your name, address, account information, phone number, and/or email address to allow your donation to be processed and to provide you with an annual giving statement that itemizes your donation(s) for tax purposes or your personal use. 

We collect and retain information about you when you send, receive, or engage with messages from us, including when you submit personal information or requests by emailing our help team. We use those communications to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve Follow and our services. 

The technologies we use for automatic data collection may include a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer known as a cookie. You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser but by doing so you may be unable to access certain parts of Follow. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting to refuse cookies, you consent to receive all cookies provided through Follow. Follow is not responsible for cookies placed or data collected by third parties via sites, content or applications linked or provided from within Follow or our other websites. 

We use cookies to: 

• Collect details of your use of Follow 

• Recognize you and/or your device(s) on, off and across different Follow applications 

• Facilitate your user experience 

• Maintain your user preferences 

• Improve functionality 

• Keep your account safe 

• Collect communication data and resources you access, use and create 

• Associate member information with the correct account 

• Collect and determine the aggregate number of unique devices using any part of Follow 

• Track usage 

• Analyze usage data 

• Improve quality and functionality for all users from information gathered 

We do not sell your personal information to any third parties or use your personal information to solicit the sale of third-party goods or services. We may provide third parties with aggregate, de-identified information. 

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described herein: 

• To our subsidiaries, potential successors, successors and affiliates 

• To contractors, service providers and other third parties used to support Follow 

• To fulfill the purpose for which your provide it 

• For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information 

• With your consent 

• To comply with any court order, law, legal process, governmental or regulatory request 

• To enforce or apply our Terms of Use or other agreements 

• If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Follow, its users or others. 

Follow receives, uses and collects: 

• Information about your proxy server, web browser, operating system, device identifier and features, add-ons, ISP, mobile carrier, the URL of prior site and site you visit next 

• Your IP address 

• Data from your devices and networks 

• Wireless permission of your mobile devices 

You may choose to share with us the contact information stored on your device to communicate, connect or share information with another user. You do not have to share this information to use Follow or to connect with any particular member. If you decide to share this information with us, it will be used to try and associate your contacts with other Follow members to create potential Follow connections and will be stored by us so long as you have a Follow member account. When you grant access to your contacts on your device for the purpose of connection suggestions, notification of when a contact joins, or sending an invite to Follow, that information is stored for the purpose of offering you this functionality. 

You may choose to share your precise location with us which we will use to provide location-based features, personalize your experience with Follow, and internally analyze and develop our products and services. Once 

permission is granted, it will remain until limited or revoked through your device settings. Your specific location will only be shared if you consent. If you choose to make certain location-related information viewable to your connections or the public, you give explicit consent for us to share that information with the audience you specify. Permission can be changed at any time in settings. 

We collect the manner in which you use Follow and its content and collect and store the User Content you create. If you choose to download content to your device, you may choose to allow Follow access to your device’s storage to add and modify this downloaded content. 

If you create, access, or store Follow information and content, we will store it in association with your account. Information about your use of Follow, the data we have about you, and the inferences we make therefrom may be used to provide recommendations to you of other Follow content, functionality, additional and other products and services, for internal development, to improve quality of products and services and to contact you regarding opportunities to engage with Follow. You may opt out of receiving these recommendations by email. 

We communicate with you through push notification, email, telephone or in-app messages. You may unsubscribe to email messages by using the unsubscribe link in the email. You cannot opt-out of receiving messages from us about account security, legal, and other service-related issues. We may use your personal information to investigate, respond to and resolve legal, security, and technical issues and complaints, including, as necessary, security purposes or possible fraud, violations of law or our Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy, or attempts to harm; however, you agree that we have no obligation to prevent or monitor for any of the foregoing. 

In the event of a data breach or a security incident that requires notification under applicable law, we may use your personal information to provide such notice as may be required in accordance with applicable law. Unless otherwise prohibited, you consent to notice as follows: sending a message to the email address you provide; posting to a publicly facing page of Follow or through an in-app message; through major statewide media; and/or telephonic means, including calls and/or text messages, sent via automated dialers. Standard text and data messaging rates may apply from your carrier. Notices by email will be effective when sent, notices by posting will be effective upon posting and by in-app messaging when the message is made, and notices we provide through telephonic means will be effective when transmitted or dialed. You consent to receiving electronic communications from Follow and your use and access of the services provided through Follow. You agree to keep your contact information with us current. 

We process and analyze the data and information available to us and make inferences therefrom, to update Follow, communicate with you and others and to observe various trends. We may use third parties to perform this work. We may disclose use of Follow content and other information and data in an aggregated manner with de-identified and anonymized information that does not disclose any particular user or that user’s personally-identifying information for any purpose including promoting Follow. 

Users are not required to provide information about religious affiliation, health, race, beliefs or any sensitive data, but if you provide us with sensitive information with any content you create, share, and store, we assume we have your consent to process that information. We will not sell your sensitive personal information, but we may share it with third-party service providers. Sensitive information we collect and inferences we make about the same are processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You have the right to withdraw your consent to our collection and processing of your sensitive personal information by turning off and no longer using Follow features that use this information or by contacting us via mail at Follow, The Mission Church of Southern Illinois, 310 North Market Street, Marion, IL, 62959.

If you share information through Follow, you and anyone you share it with may view it. By giving access to your Follow account to other applications and services, those services would then have access to your shared information. The use, collection, and protection of your data by third-party services is subject to those third parties’ policies. 

If we are required by law to disclose information about you, we will attempt to notify you when appropriate in our judgment, unless prohibited or when the request is an emergency. We may dispute such demands if we believe, in our discretion, that a dispute is warranted, but are not obligated to do so. We may disclose your information if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (i) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (ii) enforce our agreements with you; (iii) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations; (iv) protect the security or integrity of Follow; or (v) exercise or protect the rights and safety of others. We reserve the right to confidentially disclose personal information we have about you in connection with a potential or actual merger or acquisition such as the conveyance of all or substantially all of our assets. 

You may ask us to delete all or some of your personal data which may limit your ability to use certain functionality of Follow. You may edit your personal data through your account. You may ask us to stop using all or some of your personal data or to limit our use of it which may limit your ability to use all or parts of Follow. You may ask us for disclosure of your personal data. You can delete your Follow account at any time using the settings function in Follow. We store your information as long as you have an account. However, when you delete your account, we will delete the information associated with your account. If you choose to delete your account or delete personal information therein, we will delete the personal information we have stored about you, except that, we may retain your personal data if we have a legal right or obligation to maintain the information or to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our rights, or fulfill any other requests from you. We may also retain aggregated statistics based on de-identified information and inferences we have made. 

Due to the nature of communications and information technology, and that the use of the internet has inherent risks, we cannot assert that information provided to us or stored in our systems or otherwise will be free from unauthorized intrusion by others, nor can we assert that such data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. 

We do not collect personal information from any person we actually know is under the age of 13 without the consent of the parent or legal guardian of that minor. If you associate your minor child’s information with your account, we assume you consent to our processing of that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and other privacy notices and terms we provide. You may withdraw or decline your consent or object to our processing of your personal data. Follow is not responsible for the privacy statements, policies, or content of other websites or apps, including websites you link to or from Follow or that are co-branded with Follow. If you choose to link Follow with other websites, applications, and services or profiles you have with third-party applications, you will provide the personal data stored on those applications to Follow. 

Follow is based out of Illinois within the United States and your use of Follow and this Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Illinois. By using Follow, you consent to your information being transferred to our facilities and to the facilities of those third parties with whom we share it with whether located within the United States or otherwise.
